The sun dawns on Marina Beach on the Bay of Bengal. With the population in Chennai, I'd believe it's rare to find so few people on the beach at any one time. This was a a small study done in preparation for a larger painting.
It's always been my tradition to sign my works in the lower right corner, but this piece just cried out to have something scratched in the sand on the beach, so the signature is over on the left.
